Senior Accountant, Revenue

Unity’s Accounting team is looking to hire a Senior Accountant that will be an integral part of our accounting team. This role will have an immediate impact on our month-end close process as well as strengthening our overall reconciliation process. - Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with precision, including the preparation and review of journal entries and reconciliation schedules.
- Conduct thorough research and documentation of accounting treatments for non-standard revenue transactions in accordance with US GAAP.
- Collaborate with various teams to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of Unity’s financial close procedures, and provide assistance with monthly reporting and flux analysis.
- Aid in the creation of consolidated financial statements, footnotes, and SEC deliverables, ensuring they meet the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive process improvements and automation efforts, maintain standard operating procedures, and support audit requirements while assisting management with special projects and ad-hoc tasks.
- Chartered Accountant, or equivalent certification required
- Strong knowledge of ASC 606, Revenue from Contract with Customers
- Strong team player that is willing to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Superb communication skills, both written and oral
- Knowledge of excel at an intermediate level
- Experience with BI Systems, Salesforce, Zuora Revenue, Workday Financials and/or NetSuite
- Ability to work with team members spread across multiple locations.
- Proven attention to detail and eager to learn and try new things
