Role
We are seeking a talented 3D Artist with strong VFX expertise to work on our
Papier2.io game. The ideal candidate will have a diverse skill set in 3D art creation and will be responsible for creating and implementing visual effects that enhance core gameplay and reward animations. This role is crucial as we transition and expand our content creation, and the successful candidate will play a key part in delivering high-quality 3D content and visual effects. The candidate will work closely with our developers to integrate new art features effectively.
Key responsibilities
- Creating high-quality 3D assets, including characters, environments, and props
- Developing and implementing visual effects for core gameplay, character abilities, environmental effects, and reward animations
- Collaborating with designers, artists, and developers to integrate 3D assets and VFX seamlessly into the game
- Working with developers to adapt and integrate new art features based on project specifications
- Optimizing 3D assets and VFX for performance
- Developing and maintaining VFX pipelines and workflows to ensure efficient production processes
- Troubleshooting and solving technical issues related to 3D asset creation and VFX implementation
Profile
- Proven experience as a 3D artist with a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of 3D art and VFX work
- Proficiency with industry-standard software (e.g., Maya, Blender, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Houdini, After Effects)
- Experience with Unity real-time rendering
- Solid understanding of particle systems, physics simulations, shaders, and scripting
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with shader development and optimization techniques is preferred
- Knowledge of animation principles and techniques is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
