An Aristocrat Sales Manager is responsible for building, developing and leading a team of Business Development Executives (BDEs), Sales Representatives and/or Sales Administration resources to achieve budgeted sales targets from new and existing customers by delivering high levels of customer satisfaction for Aristocrat. The Regional Sales Manager contributes to the achievement of sales targets and helps build long-term customer relationships by building a capable and engaged team.What You'll Do
- Coach and guide team to achieve budgeted sales targets and distribution objectives for customer base
- Plan and direct the activities of the team, ensuring all members are; aligned with our Values and Power Plays Recognition Program, capable & motivated to achieve their sales targets.
- Actively engage and promote the Aristocrat Way for Sales (AW4S) initiatives includes monthly sales meetings, 1 to 1’s and weekly WIP process
- Build capability and foster a culture of high performance amongst team members.
- Accept individual and team accountability aimed at fostering a high performance culture, in line with the Group Strategy of Connect & Unleash and Corporate Values.
- Ensure team effectiveness in maximising customer coverage and depth of relationships
- Maximise relationships with key customers
- Promote key account management skills for BDE’s including understanding of customer’s needs and effective planning and solution based outcomes
- Active participation in key customer Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Ensure CRM customer details, account plans, buying agreements and engagement plans remain updated and relevant.
- Ensure your team understands the customers’ objectives, buying criteria and decision making processes and forms long term business partnerships in order to leverage revenue from the relationship and promote Aristocrat as a quality supplier with the aim of achieving "preferred" supplier status.
- Coordinate the gathering of market intelligence and monitor competitors' Sales strategies and products, campaigns and events to optimise our revenue and market share.
- Actively participate as a member of the wider Aristocrat team- sharing ideas, providing support and actively sharing common goals.
- Actively engage with key stakeholders within region and wider Aristocrat business to continuously improve Aristocrat Way of Working including the coordination of regional meetings.
- Actively participate in team related activities and demonstrate a willingness to work across functions and share knowledge to assist performance of Sales Team and other Aristocrat’s functions.
- Demonstrate behaviour consistent with the company’s Values and Power Plays Recognition Program.
- Prepare for and actively participate in 1:1s with leader.
- Take personal responsibility for self-development.
- Actively participate in Team Meetings.
- Support your Line Manager and all other team members to be successful.
What We're Looking For
- 8 - 10 years of experience of sales experience, may possess relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Coaching & team building
- Sales and negotiation experience.
- Gaming industry experience preferable, but not essential.
- A proven track record in a Sales and people management
- Commercial awareness with considerable previous experience in customer facing roles.
- Proven sales ability including outstanding selling & negotiation skills, persuasive ability and excellent communication skills.
- Expert product and industry knowledge coupled with the ability to deal with clients at all levels and translate client needs into a complete solution.
- Familiarity with BI tools.
- Analytical interpretation capabilities.
- Advanced problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills with strong presence and impact.
- Very strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships and engage with people at all levels quickly.
- Ability to understand, embrace and capitalise on change.
