The rigger/ animator will develop and maintain pipelines and tools for rigging and skinning characters in Maya. You will work as a key member of our animation team creating high-quality rigs and developing animation pipelines.
Requirements
- Rigging and skinning of characters and props in Maya & 3ds Max
- Development / maintenance of animation retargeting pipelines to seamlessly transfer animation across different 3D packages (Maya, MotionBuilder & 3ds Max)
- Working closely with the Animation Director to ensure QA and problem solve as needed
Preferences:
- 3+ years of experience working on the technical side of rigging/animation in games
- Experience integrating assets into Unity / Unreal
- Experience rigging faces in Maya
- Experience setting up set-driven keys and expressions in Maya
- Experience creating bipeds using Character Studio
- Artistic eye for proper skin deformation
- MEL / Python scripting in Maya
- Maxscript scripting in 3ds Max
- Python scripting for MotionBuilder
