About the Role
Twitch's Revenue Accounting team is looking for a Revenue Analyst with experience in a growing commerce business. You will support the order to cash (O2C) process for Twitch's commerce business and have hands-on experience with month-end close activities. You are highly detailed and comfortable with handling and analyzing large volumes of data. The Revenue Analyst is a team player who will work with cross functional teams, such as FP&A, Tax, Fintech, and Engineering, to ensure commerce revenue is recorded in accordance to Twitch's revenue recognition policies. You will report to the Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting.
You Will:
- Help with the revenue recognition and Order to Cash functions of Twitch's commerce business
- Perform month-end close responsibilities, including preparing reconciliations, journal entries, flux analysis, and revenue reporting
- Reconcile large volume of data data between accounting, payment processor, and internal databases
- Work with several teams to support new product offerings and programs and ensure proper revenue recognition
- Help with researching and documenting revenue accounting policies, procedures, and controls
- Participate in UAT for new ERP systems
- Support any audit or quarterly review
You Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar fields
- 3+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting in regards to revenue in the Ecommerce or SaaS environment
- Hands-on experience with month-end close, including preparing journal entries and reconciliations
- Advanced Microsoft excel skills (can perform complex functions) and experience analyzing large amounts of data
- Experience with creating robust and detailed documentation
