Research Associate, Tools R&D

We are currently planning on having our Student Associate program in-person.

Your Mission

• Join the team at Treyarch and work directly with developers here and at other Call of Duty ® studios on a project to improve workflows for the many content creators who work on the game.
• Use machine learning and other research to investigate new tools for use in gameplay and environment creation and design.
• Collaborate with some of the best engineers in the industry.
• Spend a summer focusing on a meaningful project that directly impacts game development while having an unparalleled experience.
• Participate in learning and development tech talks to understand how our employees come together to launch AAA games.

Player Profile

• Must be pursuing a Masters, or PhD and graduating December 2023 or later.
• Computer Science Degree or similar preferred
• Working knowledge of programming language e.g. C++, Python, and programmable shader languages
• Knowledge or experience with machine learning concepts and techniques
• Available for a 6-months program starting in late May or late June
• Ability to demonstrate superior programming and problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and reliability
• Candidates must supply a resume to be considered, code samples preferred
• Experience demonstrated through publication in top-tier conferences is preferred.
