We are looking for an experienced build and release engineer to join our development team. You’ll work closely with the Production, QA and Engineering groups to monitor, fix and improve our day to day build stability, and call out high priority issues. You’ll be responsible for integrating code and data into various work environments and ensuring no work is lost in the process. Additionally you’ll assist with first party setup requirements and ensure smooth releases, both internal and external.
What you’ll do
- Work across disciplines to track and improve build stability
- Handle integration requests from all members of the team and integrate those requests into various development branches
- Work with leadership on release priorities
- Configure first party information
- Expand our automation library
Requirements
- 1+ years working in a build engineer role or release manager role
- Experience with source control software (ex. Perforce or GIT)
- Working with Sony and Microsoft Development Consoles
- Code Literacy (ability to read and understand the general thrust of code, if not the exact means of execution)
Preferred Qualifications
- Some coding or scripting knowledge (any language)
- Familiarity with interpreting callstacks from software exceptions
- Experience with JIRA
- Experience using Visual Studio
