Release Coordinator

The Challenge
A Release Coordinator is a junior role at Private Division that will assist the Release team (part of the Production department) to release our games, updates, submit ratings and other content on all supported platforms. This role will support Release Managers with first party submissions, and will also communicate across departments (Production, QA, Marketing) and with developers and first party partners. The Release Coordinator naturally excels at planning and organization, loves games and thinks deeply about them and most of all is willing to roll up their sleeves and learn a lot!
What You’ll Take On
- Supports the planning process for all game releases.
- Assist in the tracking of tasks involved in a release (game submissions, patch submissions, marketing materials submissions, international ratings submissions, etc).
- Prepare first party submissions: patch submissions, storefront updates, etc.
- Support the creation of international age rating materials for our games. This may entail capturing game footage, grabbing screenshots, creating documentation, communicating with our release team and the devs about game content, etc.
- Maintain internal documentation about first party processes, release management, etc., update as needed.
- Travel, both domestic and international, may be required (once it is safe to do so).
What You Bring
- A love and understanding of games coupled with a curiosity for the full production and release cycle.
- Some experience in game development (production, QA, etc) and has experienced part of the development lifecycle in a commercial or student project.
- An enthusiasm to work on a game publishing team and learn new tools and a variety of processes that go into a release.
- An eagerness to tackle multiple projects at once.
- Attention to detail, able to both follow existing processes and apply creative solutions/help create new processes.
- Experience with first party submissions and tools (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Valve, etc) is a plus.
- Highly adaptable to a variety of situations, and curious about potential improvements.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with current Microsoft consumer level products.
