Release Coordinator

As a Release Coordinator, you will be responsible for executing release and deploy processes for a number of different projects. The Release Coordinator will be responsible for building pipelines, maintenance schedules, and public messaging standards as they support release management processes. You will be expected to become a subject matter expert in these areas in order to contribute to the overall organizational success by reducing downtime while minimizing risk to the business.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenances for various products and services in both internal and production environments
• Assist in identification and resolution of incidents, including player and stakeholder communication
• Gain knowledge of products and services in order to assist in troubleshooting and triage of issues

Requirements

• 1+ year of NOC or help-desk experience
• 2+ years of previous UNIX/Linux system administration experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Independent problem-solving, self-direction
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to quickly assess and prioritize
• Working knowledge of the following systems/technologies:
• Monitoring and trending systems (Nagios, Cacti, Graphite, Grafana)
• Cloud technologies (AWS)
• Automation servers (Jenkins, TeamCity)
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early morning hours

Desired

• Familiarity with ITIL best practices concepts
• Experience with MMOs or online gaming
