Regional HR Manager, ASIA

SUMMARY
This is a HR leadership that calls for an established HR professional to represent Asia HR within our organization. It delivers the HR generalist service and experience for the studios in Asia based on corporate policies, procedures and guidelines, and government regulations to support business growth and development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Primary partnership with local country management leaders to establish HR strategic and tactical framework & plans to align with global, regional, and local commercial priorities.
- Be involved on strategic, tactical, and operational HR fronts, while providing leadership to the local HR teams in Asia.
- Ensure best practices in HR are relevant to the business needs and acted as counsel to the management team on HR issues such as talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations & engagement, diversity, equity & inclusion (DE&I), manpower reporting & analysis, and budgeting.
- Develop and improve HR policies and procedures for implementation across Asia.
- Manage organizational change processes and initiatives in the areas of integration and restructuring.
- Lead and provide support as the Asia HR focal point in HR and organizational system implementations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Marketing & Communications, Learning & Development to uphold the standards and practices required of an integrated HR function for Asia.
- Provide support and front organizational audits and ensure that HR practices (processes and controls) are aligned with requirements.
- Keep abreast of local statutory regulations and industry initiatives to partner with the business.
- Be actively involved in global and regional projects, as well as undertake other HR responsibilities that are reasonably required from time to time.
Requirements
- Professional qualifications/certifications in HR.
- More than 8 years of full spectrum HR experience, including track record in leading/managing a small/mid-sized diverse HR team across Asia.
- Prior and relevant exposure in managing regional HR scope of work.
- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with client-oriented mindset.
- Be prepared to be operationally hands-on where necessary.
Able to prioritize, organize and execute multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
- Resourceful, meticulous, and a team player who can work well with all levels.
- Possess a high level of integrity & discretion.
- Self-driven personality and team player.
- Able to travel regionally when required.
- Fluent in both English and Japanese.
