Who We Are:

2K develops and publishes interactive entertainment globally for console systems, handheld gaming devices and personal computers, including smartphones and tablets. 2K is a leading publisher of today’s most popular gaming genres and most well-known for critically acclaimed game franchises like NBA 2K, WWE 2K, Bioshock, Borderlands, Evolve, XCOM and the beloved Sid Meier’s Civilization.

What We Need:

Every game that is sold at retailers needs to be rated by different age ratings boards. These can be organizations like ESRB, PEGI, or government run agencies for Brazil or Korea. The Ratings Service team is looking for a detail-oriented individual who can articulate what they are seeing, reading and hearing in game and translate that into the required forms for all agencies to get the game rated and released.

The Ratings Production Coordinator needs to be passionate about games of all genres, patient, and an excellent team player. Along with all those premium qualities, the Ratings Production Assistant will work hand in hand with the Ratings Producers, Project Producers and the Capture Team Lead where professional and transparent communication is paramount to the success correctly built ratings packages.

Job Responsibilities Include:

The Ratings Production Coordinator is responsible for playing all titles 2K is planning to release, to capturing screenshots, video footage and detailed information for multiple ratings board boards. The PA will collaborate with other team members on the production side, and development side to confirm the required footage and information on forms are filled out accurately to ensure nothing is missing.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Ratings Producer to coordinate forums, recordings, and tasks on multiple titles at the same time
• Ensure Management is kept up to date and well informed on the status of each title and age rating board.
• Develop Knowledge of all titles and DLCs scheduled for release
• Capture both static imagery and video footage to specifications

Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:

The ideal Ratings Production Coordinator is a person who can look at games from a different perspective to ensure all aspects required by ratings boards is captured. Someone who can communicate and build relationships across the different departments for an accurate representation of the title.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1+ years experience in production environment
• Experience with AAA titles preferred
• Technically proficient with PCs and gaming consoles
• Comfortable with many game genres from FPS to RPG, from PC to iOS, and everything in between.
• Multi-tasker who can keep track of active projects and the status.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms
• Experienced with Microsoft products (Windows 10, Outlook, Office, etc)
• Experienced with video capture hardware/software and Adobe Creative Suite – Premiere and Photoshop experience is a big plus
