Since we launched in 2017, we’re now live in 6 locations and 4 countries around the world (4.5 stars on Yelp, and the #1 Activity in Hong Kong and Singapore on TripAdvisor), and we’re quickly expanding.
What you’ll be doing:
You will be working alongside of, and supporting, a talented team of developers by repeatedly testing VR Experiences to ensure our guests have a flawless and immersive VR experience. You will use your keen eye for detail to spot problems and communicate them to the team in both verbal and written forms.
Testing VR Experiences – You love the idea of being immersed in VR all day and you have the focus to spot even minor issues (bugs) with the experiences. You can work with the team to develop test-plans so that you can follow a methodical approach while testing. You will diligently report and log the issues you discover in fine detail. When issues are fixed, you’ll push hard to verify those fixes so you are certain they do not occur again.
Bug Hunting – You’ll receive reports of issues reported by personnel at our retail locations - and your goal will be to hunt these issues down and reproduce them reliably so that the development team can find and fix them. You will proactively communicate your progress to the development team and document your reproduction steps well.
Active Testing – Our experiences require movement and being on your feet. You’ll seldom be at your desk for long, and you need to be eager to keep moving and stay active throughout each day.
Who we are looking for:
- QA/Testing Experience - You have had experience testing software and ideally games before.
- Avid VR Gamers – You have experience in playing VR games and are interested in helping to make them. The prospect of playing upcoming VR experiences before anyone else in the world is very exciting for you.
- Tech Savvy –You use computers regularly and are comfortable with data entry applications, word processing, spreadsheets, screenshot tools, and video recording software.
- Great Communicator – You can clearly communicate and describe problems in English both written and verbally. Cantonese also a huge plus. You’re the kind of person who isn’t afraid to speak up if you see a problem and tell your co-workers how you feel about it.
- Can-do Attitude – We place a great deal of importance in people who want to be part of the team and help us achieve our goals. Ad-Hoc tasks are sure to come up regularly and you’re happy to put your hand up to do whatever is needed to help the team reach their goals.
How you can really impress us:
- Unity Know-How - You have technical experience, specifically in the use of the Unity game engine.
