Summary:
We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer who is self-motivated and results-oriented with hands-on experience in automated testing and deploying high-quality test automation solutions in an Agile environment. A strong candidate will have excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and a proven ability to perform in a matrixed organization.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the implementation of automated test frameworks and test cases.
- Write comprehensive and well-structured front-end and backend automated tests.
- Build test automation suites to support sprint level, regression, or end-to-end tests.
- Be able to support teams with any test support needed during feature development including manual testing.
- Collaborate with QA and Development teams to improve test automation coverage for faster regression testing.
- Provide accurate time estimates for test plans and complete them within given timelines.
- Partner with DevOps to support testing infrastructure and speed up testing.
Required Qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4+ years testing experience with web and mobile apps, preferably in an Agile environment.
- Professional level and hands-on programming experience with Python preferred (or other Object-Oriented Languages).
- Recent and in-depth experience using mobile automation frameworks like Appium and Selenium.
- Experience scripting automated tests for mobile (iOS and Android) platforms.
- Experience working with Git, Jenkins.
- Experience supporting and debugging CI/CD pipelines using AWS tools.
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience automating Unity Mobile or Gaming applications.
