Summary:
Age of Learning is seeking a QA Analyst whose primary responsibility will be testing across desktop browsers, Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate should have experience as a tester working in a fast-paced setting with tight deadlines and facilitate the discovery, documentation, and communication of software issues clearly.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with a dedicated game artist and programmer to develop curriculum-focused Unity games with our in-house games platform
- Test development and gold master builds on a variety of mobile platforms
- Create and document test cases based on game design documents
- Execute testing of various builds, including integration, functional, and performance tests
- Log and document test results, where appropriate, and work with your team to assist with troubleshooting, resolution, and validation
- Support release process and perform product verification testing
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned
- Attend meetings to report work progress and critical issues
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to test in a fast-paced environment with both long and short development cycles
- Knowledge and experience with various test strategies and approaches (Exploratory, Ad-hoc, Boundary, Functional, Non-functional, Compatibility, Negative, etc.)
- Experience working with bug management systems (e.g., JIRA, DevTest/Track, Bugzilla, etc.)
- Understanding of how websites and mobile applications are developed and function
- Familiarity testing Analytics
- Ability to own work on tasks independently as embedded development QA in the SDLC pipeline
- Desire to learn from documentation, share knowledge, and take initiative
- Execute test plans, scenarios, or procedures
- Basic-Moderate understanding of Agile (i.e., Scrum or Kanban) methodologies.
- At least 2 years of experience in QA testing websites and/or mobile application
