QA Tester (m/f/d)

We are looking for a motivated and passionate QA Tester to be part of a multi-disciplinary team. You’ll be responsible for executing functionality tests on game features and components while closely working together with developers and the design team to provide high-quality feedback. This way, we make sure our players can enjoy a fun and bug-free game. Creating test plans and other QA-related documents is part of their day-to-day work as well as participating in Game Design reviews and feature planning efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manual Functionality testing of new/existing features and components
• Creating and maintaining test plans and other test relevant documentation
• Entering found defects into the bug database following the department-wide reporting standards
• Providing constructive and qualitative feedback to developers, also helping with reproducing issues
• Regression & rechecks of code changes / bug fixes
• Informing the Project Management team about test progress and escalating critical issues
• Coordinating test plans and effort with central QA teams
• Review of Game Design documentation and providing constructive and qualitative feedback to the Design team

REQUIREMENTS

• Maintain an adaptive approach to testing
• Good interpersonal skills, team-worker
• Proactive, driven, stress-resistant
• Good command of JIRA, Confluence and Mantis
• Highly Familiar in using MS Windows and Office Suite
• Understanding of Bug / Software development life cycles within testing
• Knowledge of debugging tools, client-server and database handling
• Computer hardware proficiency
• ISTQB Certified Tester (strong plus)
• Interest in typical technologies of Mobile and Online games
• Familiarity with games (strong plus)
• Experience with Agile, Scrum and Waterfall methods
• Passion for games, in particular mobile games
• Fluent in written and spoken English
