QA Tester (LiveOps) (m/f/d)

Who we’re looking
We are looking for a LiveOps QA Tester to work with our Live Operations team to ensure the delivery of high quality products to our customers.
With a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills, you will ensure that our games, features and systems work as expected and that we deliver bug free content on time. Working together with the rest of the QA team, as well as the various stakeholders, you will have the opportunity to understand all the internal dynamics and impact the way we build our product processes.
In this role you will have the opportunity to work with many other disciplines such as design, business intelligence and engineering, to build and test products that meet the overall business needs. This is a dynamic role with high exposure to many aspects of developing and running a unique MMO - Realm of the Mad God.
This role is a remote role, you can work from everywhere in India in CET hours (9am-6pm CET).
Your Responsibilities
- Ensure the quality of the LO update cycle with dedication and precision
- Work closely with Live Operations specialists, artists, product managers and game production teams to ensure correctness and timeliness of live operations of the game
- Design and prepare test cases based on LO plans and forecasted releases
- Work closely with the LO team in setting up and execution of in-game promotions and events when required
- Coordinate and test LiveOps releases on testing environments prior to the release and validate them post release
- Keep the QA process and documentation up to date
- Produce build/release notes and other core QA documentation for cross team knowledge transfer
- Work with the development and LO teams on implementation details and proactively provide suggestions for improvement from an end user perspective at an early stage
- Write QA reports in a professional manner for senior management
- Assist the rest of the QA department outside of LO testing when required to ensure key coverage across design and engineering features
Your Profile
- 2+ years’ experience in quality control and assurance, ideally with LiveOps responsibilities
- Prior experience working with a games as a service title
- Experienced in at least one bug tracking software and ability to create detailed and efficient documentation
- Fluent in English and a good communicator, both written and spoken
- Proven ability to handle stressful situations, prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills with high motivation, drive to improve and capacity to learn
- Able to work independently, adjust to last minute changes and understanding of how to prioritize tasks
- Willing to work during off hours/weekend when required
Nice to Have
- Experience in a remote working culture
- Worked on multiple games as service titles
- Fully functional PC/laptop, Win and MAC
- Basic knowledge of code base such as github/jenkins/xml
- Experience with mobile, MMO and free to play games
- Good knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
- Competency in MS Office and Google suite
