QA Release Engineer (Games)

Amazon Games is seeking a passionate and motivated Release Engineer to join the Publishing QA organization. In this role, you will partner closely with an Account Manager and a Marketing Lead to develop and deploy processes for releasing our games onto various publishing platforms, whether PC, console or mobile. You will then supervise the release of all of our titles to production while collaborating with franchise teams, quality assurance, and other stakeholders. This will enable Amazon Games to confidently and continually release high-quality products that delight customers worldwide.

This position will influence multiple teams and projects by optimizing launch readiness, platform certification and release management processes. In this role, you will learn about the various platform requirements, tools and deployment processes, and advise QA and franchise teams. Success will require curiosity, creativity and collaboration.

Basic Qualifications

· 5+ years of experience in software QA
· Experience with QA methodology and tools; software testing standards, methods and conventions; and the product development cycle
· Experience with platform compliance or publisher certification
· Experience in one of more scripting languages, or equivalent technical skills

Preferred Qualifications

· Knowledge of video games and digital entertainment
· Experience testing across a variety of platforms (PC, mobile, console, etc.)
· Proven success in communicating cross-functionally and across management levels
· ISTQB (or equivalent qualification)
