At Forward Technology Group, we create leading edge interactive experiences and video games with our brands ForwardXP and Forward Game Studios.
ForwardXP is a leader in the development of Metaverse experiences (VR/AR/XR) and Virtual Reality focused video games. We work closely with our largest client, Meta, to reimagine enterprise training and other experiences in the emerging Metaverse. Our hit VR game, Please, Don’t Touch Anything continues to be a top seller on the Oculus Quest.
Forward Game Studios focuses on AAA multiplatform video game development with an emphasis on multiplayer games. Our senior team previously served in leadership positions to ship titles in some of the top selling game franchises of all time including Call of Duty, DOOM, QUAKE, RAGE, Wolfenstein, Counter-Strike, Half-Life, Left 4 Dead, The Sims, James Bond, and Medal of Honor. We are currently working on an unannounced multiplayer focused title.
Who we are looking for
At Forward, we are looking for a talented Quality Assurance Manager to help us deliver top-notch VR, PC and Console interactive and game experiences.
In this role, you will work closely with all of production to stay up to date on project statuses along with the engineering team to implement automation, tools development, etc.
What you will be doing
- Lead and manage a growing team across multiple projects while implementing and fostering team building initiatives
- Partnering with department and project leads, build and maintain QA process to support multiple game and software projects
- Grow and support a QA team who serve as the QA project points of contact
- Establish strong partnerships with internal department leads and external partners
- Guide and support production staff with playtesting efforts across Metaverse and Games projects
- Help improve product pipelines and workflows
- Identify and report the metrics that matter, using data to guide action
- Hold teams accountable for including quality and player impact as an essential factor in decision-making
What we would like to see
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance, experienced managing and growing a QA team across multiple functions and projects
- Strong project and people management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience tracking multiple complex projects
- Familiar with Games and Software QA team structure and needs
- Familiar testing on modern VR headsets (i.e. Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive etc.)
Bonus points
- Certification(s) in ISTQB Core track
- Certification(s) in Agile methodologies
- Familiar testing on modern game consoles and PC (i.e. PS5, XSX, any PC game storefronts, etc.)

Position's location
This role is an in-office position with hybrid work-from-home flexibility. We offer relocation assistance for those coming from outside the Dallas area.
