Description
Streamline Media Group is looking for a Game QA Intern to be a part of new and ongoing game developments. We are looking for highly motivated and detailed oriented individuals who has a keen eye in identifying minor and/or major bugs alike.
You will be working closely with the QA team and Programmers to ensure they meet their goal, along with being tasked with testing various titles, as well as possess the skills to investigate them, and most importantly able to clearly report this via verbal and written bug reports. Fresh graduates from Game Development are welcome to apply!
Duties and Responsibilities
- Proactively discover and report software/hardware bugs on assigned projects.
- Verify the new features and confirm to quality standards as per Game design documents.
- Execute test cases efficiently as per instructions from QA lead.
- Log bugs in Test database as per QA standards.
- Verify fixes made and co-operate in production of build/ release notes as part of Regression
Requirements
- Work closely with assigned game dev teams to identify areas to test and construct relevant test cases
- Good understanding of Game designs and different type of game mechanics used in game.
- Understanding of PC and Console hardware and accessories.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
- Passionate gamer with experience of console and PC titles
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.)

Beneficial Skills
- Knowledge of Test database like – JIRA or Test Rail etc.
- Knowledge of game engine operations.
- Experience testing a mobile apps across multiple platforms / devices.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies – Sanity, Smoke, load, stress testing etc.
- Basic Knowledge of STLC and SDLC
