Software Test Engineer, Nintendo Switch

Our mission in the Nintendo Switch development team is to make Unity the best engine choice for Nintendo Switch developers. Bringing new Unity Features to the console, unlocking the potential of the Nintendo Switch ecosystem or making Unity games run ever faster is what gets us up in the morning.
We’re looking for a Software Test Engineer to join our small team in Stratford-upon-Avon. You’ll be responsible for testing new versions of Unity and readying them for release to our developer community. There will be some manual testing, but we’ll also be looking for you to help grow and improve our automated tests.
We also want to collaborate with you when we need to test a new feature. This might involve you writing tests or creating a sample project in Unity, we’ll trust you to find the best solution.
Being part of the development team means you’ll get all the support you need and will be a great opportunity for you to learn about all aspects of Unity and Nintendo Switch development.
Responsibilities
- Validate existing and new features in up-coming versions of Unity for Nintendo Switch
- Collaborate with the development team on the testing of new features and bug fixes
- Grow and improve our automated tests, framework and infrastructure
- Contribute to the wider Quality Assurance and Release Management processes at Unity
Requirements
- Experience developing with Unity
- Good C# skills
Bonus Points
- Knowledge of software testing processes, either manual or automated
- Working with Unity to develop a game title targeting console or mobile hardware
- Good C/C++ skills
