In this role you will:
- Develop and perform manual test cases as part of ongoing hardware and software development
- Research automated test strategies and develop automated test frameworks that can be leveraged by our product development teams
- Perform regular regression testing and participate in the software and hardware release processes
- Work closely with development and QA team members to inform and improve the testing strategy as a whole
- Attend and participate in team daily review and planning sessions
- Work with end users to understand key workflows and triage issues
What we are looking for:
- Degree in Computer Science or related subject
- Experience in manual testing of desktop or web applications
- Use of scripting languages to automate workflows - Python, Go etc
- Ability to work in a fast paced agile development environment
Bonus:
- Experience of using test case management tools (e.g. Test Rail, TestLink)
- Creating and maintaining UI automation tests
- Automated performance testing
- Integrating tests into continuous integration systems (e.g. Jenkins, TeamCity )
- Use of Unreal Engine
