This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a newly Global Technology Sourcing and Procurement Team in a fast-paced and dynamic business in the entertainment industry.

The role will be responsible for leading the charge to evaluate new suppliers, to negotiate current contracts with an emphasis on price, terms, quality, and to execute on consolidation opportunities. This individual would work closely with key stakeholders within China and collaborate across the APAC region for technology spend categories.

The ideal candidate is an independent, self-motivated leader with a proven track record of establishing a standard of excellence aligned to meet objectives of key stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to source new technologies to improve business operations while reducing cost to achieve maximum value.

Responsibilities

• Understand China and APAC technology roadmap and the competitive environment for these technologies.
• Build relationships with key decision makers within China and across APAC technology teams.
• Develop and implement negotiation, procurement, and purchasing strategies supporting a fast-moving business.
• Drive annual productivity improvements and cost savings initiatives to targeted goals
• Consistently seek process optimization and quality of service opportunities.
• Continually monitor both cost and demand opportunities for savings.
• Develop RFP’s and negotiate new contracts.
• Drive the process to select, evaluate, onboard suppliers.
• Build and maintain ongoing relationships with active suppliers and build relationships with potential future suppliers.
• Manage issues and quality concerns with suppliers to ensure timely resolution
• Oversee a systematic, analytical, and results-based method for monitoring supplier's performance and communicate results to suppliers and stakeholders
• Support APAC region with knowledge of Mainland China, Korea, and Taiwan procurement
• Experience with IT Category Spend (General computer hardware & software)
• Work with other teams to start procurement initiative and handoff to stakeholders in respective countries to then finish procurement initiative within APAC

• Knowledge with Tax and payment processing and reclamation
• Impeccable attention to detail, organizational and time management abilities
• Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of study
• 5+ years of experience in procurement
• Experience managing sourcing in technology products and services including, but not limited to, server hardware, storage, networking hardware, network delivery services, public cloud, employee productivity hardware, SaaS, software licenses, support contracts, etc.
• Solid negotiating skills and experience
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Strong presentation skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders across an organization
• Strong organizational skills
• Project Management (medium to large scale); able to handle and prioritize multiple projects
• Demonstrated ability to roll up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity
• Able to work independently, with limited direction and limited ability to delegate
• Must be fluent in Chinese and English
• A plus to speak Korean
