Overview: To support the Export Communications and Marketing team in delivering first class marketing planning and activations. Assisting in the day-to-day planning for a broad range of titles in order to maximise sales and profitability through consumer engagement, acquisition and retention
Ubisoft is looking for an Export Public Relations (PR) and Marketing Executive to join its dynamic Export Marketing team, reporting to the Head of Communications and supporting the Marketing team across a broad portfolio of titles for the Export region.
This Export/Emerging region includes Greece, Serbia, Croatia, Cyprus, India, South Africa, Israel, Romania, Turkey, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Slovenia and others. The Export team itself is based in the UK.
The role of the Export PR and Marketing Executive will focus on the planning and implementation of PR, Marketing, Community & Digital function within the Export department.
Candidates should have at least 12 months experience working in PR, communications or social media implementation role. Previous internship experience considered.
Candidates must have excellent organizational skills, a proactive/can-do attitude and a keen interest in gaming, technology, social media trends, community management and the entertainment industry.
The successful candidate will be someone that would enjoy learning and growing within the role, gaining experience across a broad spectrum of PR activities (e.g media relations, events, community management and coverage tracking) brand marketing (e.g. paid media, campaign evaluation and reporting), digital marketing (e.g. managing social media channels, content creation, buzz tracking, activity optimisation and reporting) events and community Initiatives (support events both digital and physical, Esports amplification and identify, build communities through activities and insight).
Based in our office in Guildford, Surrey, the role offers strong opportunities to gain experience within an exciting and dynamic international environment as part of a friendly multidisciplied team.
This permanent position is full time, working Monday to Friday 9:00 - 17:30 and the salary is £24,000.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1) PR Campaign Management and Tracking
Assist the Head of Communications in the development and delivery of PR activities, including coverage logging, media and content creator (“influencer”) relations, asset management, campaign tracking, and internal communications and working with our gaming communities
2) Coordination and Localisation of Marketing Assets
Assisting with the production, localisation and review of all marketing assets
3) Social Media Management
Assist the Digital Manager with the Ubisoft & brand social media strategy. Helping to identify new trends across all platforms and adapt to fit with Ubisoft portfolio. Selecting UGC for use on owned channels and brand amplification.
4) Events & Community Support
Support the Events Manager in planning and delivering impactful, effective events alongside esports activity, including media, retail and consumer expositions
5) Reporting
Support the PR, Brand and Digital Marketing Managers in providing regular reporting on key marketing milestones
6) General Marketing Team Support
Provide broad administrative support across the Marketing team as required
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Educated to degree level
- Willingness and interest to progress in PR & Marketing communications
- PC literate – Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask across disciplines
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Effective communicator
- Keen interest in videogames and the broader entertainment industry
- An interest in international markets and cultures
