Project Manager

Who are we?

What will you be doing?

You’ll be responsible for planning, overseeing and leading cross team projects through to success . You will be interacting with both internal and external stakeholders, and managing multiple projects simultaneously. For example, new store openings, technology updates across all stores.

Who are we looking for?

• We're looking for someone who has 7+ experience in technology project management.
• We're looking for a passionate person who is interested in overseeing projects from the beginning through implementation to success.
• With the problems that may arise during the projects, someone who is detail-minded and with good problem solving skills are also required.
• Someone who has good communication skills, is resourceful, organized and willing to learn is also a must.
• Someone who can work with different stakeholders, including vendors and in-house professionals to maximize resource and efficiency.
• We’re making the holodeck real at Sandbox VR. We expect this to be a very competitive market, which means we have to innovate as a team. You should be open to researching and solving completely new technology challenges nobody has solved before.

How can you really impress us?

• If you’ve been a team lead, we’d love to hear about your leadership philosophy and experience. We’re still early and it’s important that we acquire a strong engineering culture from our senior engineers as we grow our team.
• If you’ve been a project management, we are also excited to hear your experience. Welcome to contribute your experience to our product operations team to build processes and standards to drive better experience for our customers.
• If you’ve worked in diverse markets and industries, and have worked in polyglot language environments where there isn’t just one programming language used across multiple services, we’d love to hear about that too. We’re going to have to work with a lot of services from third parties in order to quickly evolve our platform.
• As a start-up company. We are open-minded to solve the problem any ways. We will surprised if you are also experienced in the different technology areas.
• Outside of your job, it would be a huge plus if you’ve done engineering work with cutting edge technologies as a hobby, such as VR/AR/MR, robotics / drones, motion capture, or machine learning. We have plans to work with all of these technologies as we grow our holodeck platform.
