Job Title: Project Manager (Release projects)
Job Summary: This person will ensure product launches, and that nothing falls through the cracks and enabling the team to learn and improve with the each subsequent product launch.

What you’ll do
- Collaborate across teams, including product development, production, logistics, buying, web, operations, planning, marketing.
- Maintain and champion a comprehensive release calendar to aid in cross-team and cross-org release communication. Keep all teams up to date via easy to consume communications.
- Project manage a number of moving pieces, and be able to deal with shifts in plans. Negotiate with teams on date changes.
- Oversee the status and progression of a launch checklist. Follow up with individuals to complete action items prior to launches. Create and assign tasks as needed.
- Facilitate Go/No-Go decisions. Create and run launch meetings.
- Implement scalable processes to accommodate product launches of variable sizes and complexity.
- Maintain release documentation and recommend key changes in workflow. Work with dev teams on improvements.
- Constantly look for areas of improvements. Organize and run post-mortems. Identify gaps in processes, and work with teams to address issues.
- Extract and analyze release data to provide to tech org stakeholders.
- Maintain awareness of upcoming launches and major initiatives/goals.
What you’ll bring
- Five (5) to seven (7) years of related professional experience.
- Bachelors degree required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical speakers.
- Obsession with process evolution, while being grounded enough to respect constraints.
- Experience with project management tools
