Job Description
Ubisoft is currently seeking a Project Manager to work in the IT department which currently employs nearly 1,500 people worldwide.
This individual will report to the Ubisoft Director of Administration and Operations and will be responsible for initiating and managing projects, analyzing functional and technical needs, and collaborating with the various departments within Ubisoft but more particularly Ubisoft Data Office.
Responsibilities
- Drive high-quality results on concurrent projects through analytical rigor, project management discipline, and effective communications;
- Develop positive relationships with colleagues and project stakeholders to become a trusted advisor to his partners;
- Determine the appropriate project management methods and apply best practices;
- Perform schedule estimating and budget development activities, manage scope, time, cost, and quality, and resolve issues in a timely manner;
- Determine the resources required for assigned projects and negotiate for their participation;
- Facilitate organizational change, perform business process analysis and process improvement activities, and drive requirements management;
- Ensure practical, usable documentation is produced when needed;
- Carry out the activities to close projects.
Qualifications
- Hands-on project management experience (IT-oriented, specifically software development, data, etc...), across organizational boundaries and on a global scale, is preferred;
- Strong interpersonal skills are a must, including presentation, meeting facilitation, and team-building techniques;
- Ability to effectively track, manage and resolve multiple issues and risks;
- Proven ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ability to work with all members of a project team, including technical leaders, developers, and system administrators;
- Proficiency in time tracking and collaboration tools;
- Bilingualism in French and English is required both orally and in writing.
