Activision-Blizzard is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Operations Project Manager to support our games on the Battle.net platform. In this role, you’ll work with internal and external partners ensure content and promotional publishing plans go smoothly on Battle.net (desktop and mobile apps, web, etc.).

The ideal candidate is a meticulous individual who can think ahead, plan around the needs of different stakeholders, work around various deadlines, and get things done. This person will work in a cross-functional environment to support various campaigns from start to finish.

The Operations Project Manager should be highly organized, self-motivated, and passionate about gaming.

Covid-19 Hiring Update: We’re currently in a work-from-home model, and we’re continuing to interview and hire during this time. This role is expected to begin as a remote position but will transition to at least a partial in-office position based out of Irvine, CA. We understand each person’s circumstances may be unique and will work with you to explore possible interim options.

Responsibilities:

• Follow established project management framework and implement new practices in the future to enable faster delivery and the team’s professional growth
• Make sure all deliverables are in on time for publishing deadlines
• Review and coordinate asset and copy delivery between Blizzard, Activision, Battle.net, and regional Publishing teams
• Partner with the Creative Services team on the briefing and approval of Battle.net assets
• Coordinate with Localization, QA, and regional QA
• Facilitate reviews with Merchandising team
• Facilitate legal reviews for product pages
• Facilitate product risk reviews with the Platform Security team
• Facilitate assets reviews with Creative Services and Marketing teams
• Maintain asset templates and specifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, or 3+ of project management experience in Entertainment or Gaming industry
• Ability to follow defined project management processes
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Advanced knowledge of Confluence, JIRA, Tableau, Microsoft Office apps
• Ability to solve unexpected problems, prioritize work for a cross-functional team, identify and mitigate risks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Ability to tailor presented information for the appropriate audience
