POSITION SUMMARY
Bandai Namco Entertainment America (BNEA) is looking for an experienced and talented Project Manager/Business Analyst to own the planning and implementation of the company’s digital sales data infrastructure and reporting capability. The Project Manager/Business Analyst will drive the project from concept to deployment while managing communications and serving as the main point-of-contact across various internal and external teams. The PM/BA will ensure that the project is kept on track and delivered according to BNEA’s defined expectations.
Project Manager/Business Analyst (12 Month Contract Position)
This position is a contingent staff position and employed by an external agency in service for Bandai Namco Entertainment America.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute project plan including scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
- Assess project risks, anticipate challenges, and build in contingencies.
- Gather and document reporting requirements from business users to guide development for both data and reporting phases.
- Partner cross-functionally with internal and external teams consisting of data analysts, programmers, report developers, subject matter experts, project sponsors, and end users.
- Hold teams accountable to plans and timelines but be able to change course when necessary.
- Provide timely and effective communication to stakeholders and BNEA leadership regarding critical updates on project milestones.
- Execute project with emphasis on quick turnarounds, feedback, and iterations.
- Write acceptance tests to guide development and conduct user acceptance testing.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- BA/BS degree or equivalent required.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in project management or professional services delivery.
- Proven track record of managing successful data integrations and system/BI implementations.
- Experience eliciting, gathering, and documenting business requirements.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Familiar with relational database structures and processes; SQL knowledge a plus.
- Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI.
- Familiar with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Asana, etc.
