Your Mission
We are seeking a project analyst for our Strategic Project organization that will provide project and team operational support for key HR programs. Your strong attention to detail, project and process orientation will be vital in supporting strategic projects in HR. You will be engaged in supporting project governance, reporting, project lifecycle support, stakeholder coordination and engagement, benefits realization, and goals alignment.
The HR Strategic Projects team is a Center of Excellence supporting Activision Blizzard globally. We deliver priority strategic HR initiatives within the Global HR Function and in support of our business units. The projects we work on reduce complexity across operating units, deliver new business capabilities, and fundamentally improve employee experience. Current projects include acquisition integrations, Organization Effectiveness Redesign and Process Optimization.
Reporting to the Operations Lead, this role will work across Project Management, Organizational Effectiveness and Change Management workstreams to enable efficient delivery of projects and initiatives.
Provide a range of skills to their assigned projects from project management to assisting with implementing organizational change, design, and effectiveness tasks, ultimately helping deliver our projects on time and to specification.
- Support project managers and project teams with tasks associated with the day-to-day execution of strategic projects. Includes, but is not limited to, coordination of resources, project tasks, status, and reporting
- Leading detailed analysis of project goals and objectives, while assisting in the planning and design of effective project structure, resources, requirements for successful delivery
- Assist in documenting the requirements needed to deliver the planned outcomes. Aid in drafting and maintaining detailed project plans that support these requirements and all tasks, specific or implied
- Regular monitoring and control of the analyzed project performing different investigations that support value judgment and identifying unnecessary costs and expenses incurred
- Prepare and present executive reports to leadership teams and vital individuals on project status, risk, issues, mitigations
- Track status against forecasted project goals and provide reporting on measurable progress against targets
- Provide functional advice and support to managers in the organization for development, implementation, and maintenance of field processes
- Design of data analysis tools as well as contribute to the continuous improvement of the methodology used
- Provide mentorship and consultative direction to project teams on use of project tools and methodologies in support of project or other work
Player Profile
Required:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years in project support or delivery role
- Experience in HR project and/or HR operations. Extra points for experience in organizational effectiveness
- Exceptional project management planning and delivery skills
- Proven problem-solving skills, validated by quantitative insight
Preferred:
- Experience in HR project and/or HR operation. Extra points for experience in change management and/or organizational efficiency
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM); Six Sigma, Scrum Master Certification (CMP); Prosci ADKAR Certification (or other similar change management certification displaying hands on proven experience in complex change)
- Creative problem solver who thinks out-of-the-box and is not afraid to question the status quo
- Can be proactive and have a roll-up-one’s-sleeves attitude
- Exhibits conviction and integrity – owning mistakes and displaying humility and resiliency, especially in difficult situations
