As a Programming Team Lead, you will to help us create the best possible version of the games we work on.

In this role, you would join and guide a programming team whose members share a common interest for programming, gaming and improving the game experience of our players.

Meet Your Maker is a post-apocalyptic first-person building-and-raiding game where players design every level. Switch between roles as you mastermind devious Outposts filled with traps and guards, then gear up for methodical fast-paced combat raiding other players’ creations.

In this role, you will :

• Lead and manage a team of programmers dedicated to delivering features and fixing bugs in a live environment and on multiple SKUs;
• Build the schedule for the programming team;
• Assign tasks to programmers;
• Help estimating time to accomplish programming tasks and commit to meeting all objectives;
• Coach and guide the development of the team members;
• Plan, organize, follow-up and evaluate the work of the team;
• Actively work with leads and people from other departments: producers, directors, designers, and artists;
• Provide help and support with programming when needed;
• Perform other related duties when required.

What we are looking for :

• This is a Senior role – you have more than 6 years writing clear and maintainable code;
• You have a previous experience leading and managing a team of programmers;
• You have shipped at least one game with a full-life cycle delivery as a Lead Programmer;
• You are a great programmer and you are more than comfortable writing C/C++/C#;
• You love solving challenging technical problems with the most effective solution;
• You ideally have a previous experience in gameplay programming;
• You are able to prioritize, plan, organize your work & time and work within deadlines;
• You have a strong interest and a real enthusiasm for video games and the gaming environment we work in;
• You have strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• You are thriving on change and can adapt changing needs and requirements.

Dans ce rôle, vous devrez:

• Guider et gérer une équipe de programmation en charge de développer des fonctionnalités de jeu sur différentes plateformes;
• Préparer le planning pour l’équipe de programmation et gérer la répartition des tâches;
• Effectuer le suivi et l’évaluation du travail effectué;
• Évaluer le temps nécessaire pour réaliser les différentes tâches et s’assurer que les objectifs soient atteints;
• Encadrer l’évolution des différents membres de l’équipe;
• Travailler activement avec les Chef.fe.s d’équipe des autres départements et Producteurs.ices pour veiller au bon déroulement du projet;
• Fournir de l’aide et du soutien en programmation aux membres de l’équipe quand nécessaire;
• Effectuer une veille technologique constante.

Ce que nous recherchons:

• Il s’agit d’un poste expérimenté - vous rédigez un code clair et maintenable depuis au moins 6 ans;
• Vous possédez une précédente expérience d’encadrement et gestion d’équipe de programmation;
• Vous avez publié au moins un titre en tant que Chef.fe d'équipe de programmation – en gérant le cycle complet de production;
• Vous êtes particulièrement à l’aise avec de la programmation – notamment en C, C++ ou C#;
• Vous aimez travailler à la résolution de problèmes techniques complexes;
• Vous êtes capable de prioriser et organiser vos tâches et de travailler avec un échéancier;
• Vous avez un réel enthousiasme et intérêt pour le monde du jeu vidéo;
• Vous êtes capable d’évoluer dans un environnement en constant changement;
• Vous possédez d’excellentes capacités de communication et aimez travailler en équipe.

Dans ce rôle, vous rejoindrez et guiderez au jour le jour une équipe de programmation dont les membres partagent un intérêt commun pour la programmation, le monde du jeu vidéo et l’amélioration de l’expérience de jeu de nos joueurs.
