Blizzard is seeking a high performing Program Manager to join the Global IT PMO and work to support our IT engineering teams. You will be a part of the Production PMO team responsible for managing the portfolio and delivery of complex projects for our Production IT teams that support Infrastructure (Network, Systems, Storage, Database) and Cloud platforms. We are looking for a program manager with diverse program management skills who is comfortable adapting their style depending on the situation at hand. They should have a good understanding of infrastructure and cloud technologies, superb communication and relationship building skills, and an ability to adapt to shifting priorities. As a program manager, you will demonstrate the following skills consistently at a high level:
- Identify the order of importance and urgency among individual projects, portfolios and operational tasks to plan milestones, schedules and resources
- Ensure that projects goals, objectives, milestones and deliverables are achieved on schedule and within budget
- Drive major decisions, identify and eliminate risks and blockers, communicate program status to stakeholders and leadership
- Build and maintain effective relationships with resources, partners, colleagues and leaders with fierce accountability for delivering on commitments and partner needs
- Work independently and deliver results with little or no supervision
- Communicate effectively and clearly with stakeholders of all levels by tailoring your message to the audience
- Demonstrate the value of partner engagement by knowing when to engage, who to engage, and how to engage while keeping inclusion and collaboration at the forefront of your approach
- Help high-performance teams and individuals to grow, challenge them to improve further, and help them track progress and clear any roadblocks.
- Model self-awareness in personal interactions and read both verbal and non-verbal signs to influence without direct authority
- Support the strategic direction of the organization by driving continuous improvement within designated program area and IT PMO
- Contribute to supporting an agile environment that fosters autonomous, self-organizing, empowered, and continuously improving teams.
Requirements:
- Extraordinary interpersonal skills, and oral and written communication skills
- Ability to break down and drive complex projects into clear and achievable milestones
- Adept at learning new topics and managing new technologies
- Working knowledge of Project Management methodologies
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Pluses:
- Experience working and driving technical teams in the IT domain
- Knowledge of Production IT Infrastructure
- Experience with the Atlassian product suite (Jira / Confluence)
- Experience delivering projects within public / private cloud environments
- General knowledge of IT fundamentals
- Scrum Master Certification

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $29.81 - $55.14 Hourly. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
