Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor is responsible for directing and controlling manufacturing activities related to the assembly, configuration, and test of Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs) and other shippable level products. This includes direct supervision of employees in the Manufacturing department.
This has been designated as a safety-sensitive job because it involves performing one or more tasks/duties that could reasonably affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task(s) or others.What you'll do
- Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing activities including refurbishment of field return EGMs, assembly and test of EGMs, sub-assembly builds and component repair.
- Ensures on-time shipment of EGMs.
- Ensures that EGMs are built to meet company and customer quality standards.
- Trains, coaches, and evaluates performance of Manufacturing employees; counsels and administers disciplinary procedures as necessary.
- Prepares weekly and monthly manufacturing reports as needed.
- Leads process improvement activities for the manufacturing area.
- Provides motivation to manufacturing employees.
- Supports training and development of manufacturing employees, allowing them to broaden their knowledge base and develop new skills, when possible
- Assists in the development of annual budget requirements for Manufacturing.
- Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals.
- Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance.
- Administers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees.
- Recommend changes to unit or sub-unit policies. Management reviews work to measure meeting of objectives.
- Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors and functional peer groups.
- Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation from others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules.
What we're looking for
- High school education is required.
- 8+ year of electro-mechanical assembly & test experience
- 2+ Leadership experience preferred.
- 2+ Supervisor experience preferred.
- At least an associate college degree in a technical field or business management is strongly preferred.
Skills
- Ability to train and have advance familiarity with electronic circuits and components (AC/DC circuits), troubleshooting, and standard industry workmanship practices is preferred.
- Ability to follow, provide, train, and enforce improvements on complex machine and component assembly instructions. Also, able to enforce high quality expectations.
- Minimum of one year’s experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Ability to train, have advanced knowledge, and enforce the use of ESD practices, LEAN manufacturing and 5S+ techniques. Familiarity with good ESD practices preferred.
- Able to understand, follow, participate, create, train, and enforce ISO/Quality standards and audits.
- Must be a highly responsible and detail-oriented individual with an understanding of, and sensitivity to, the regulatory implications of this position.
- Able to perform and give assignments with no supervision.
- Able to train others and able to provide recommendations to resolve issues with reasonable judgement including creating new process and standards.
- Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors.
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action.
- Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will cause delays in schedules.
- Provides direct supervision to professional individual contributors and/or skilled, support individual contributors (e.g., technicians, designers, support personnel).
- Acts as advisor to unit or sub-units and may become actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems.
- Able to work with leadership to organize work assignments, identify and help resolve issues, enforce correct procedures, and provide training.

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, ability to distinguish colors and ability to adjust focus.

- The employee is occasionally required to lift, move, and control up to 500 pounds with the aid of dollies or machine carts. The employee must be able to be able to lift and move 40 pounds short distances with/without mechanical aid and frequently lift and/or move 10 pounds.
- Employees must also wear appropriate personal protection equipment, such as, steel toe shoes where applicable.
- May also need to add the use of the Paint mask.
