We are currently looking for a delightful Production Director to join our Leamington based team - but we are fully supportive of remote working and happy to enable whatever blend of home and office best empowers you and your work.

What Does a Production Director Do at Electric Square?

This is a very important role for us and we’re looking for just the right person to help us deliver truly lovely games efficiently. We have a positive and affectionate culture, and we are looking for someone who can Get Things Done while being kind and caring about quality. As well as leading their departments, the director team are responsible for studio culture and strategy, and we’re looking for someone who cares greatly about both of those things too. We are firm believers that people should be the best them they can be, and we want to find someone we can genuinely give opportunities to grow and excel.

• Ensures that all studio projects are being well managed and delivering wonderful experiences, on time and on budget.
• Works with Game Directors to ensure our projects are delivering the intended experience for the audience and commercial intentions of the game.
• Manages the production team, mentoring, coaching and supporting the practice and development of all producers in the studio.

• Along with the rest of the director team, develops effective business strategy and a culture we can be proud to be a part of.
• In the most wholesome way imaginable, loves what they do, and we can tell. (This isn’t a codeword for crunch. The day is over. Go home. So to speak…)

Requirements

Things we'd love to see from you:

• Appreciable applicable experience and several shipped titles of reasonable scale. This is a vital role and while we want you to grow and thrive, we do need confidence that we are in safe hands.

• Passionate, curious, motivated, and open to giving and receiving constructive criticism.
• We are platform agnostic and value broad experience in console, mobile, F2P and live ops.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work well as a team player in a collaborative environment.
• A love of creating unforgettable, utterly loveable gaming experiences for the audience!
