Production Coordinator

DigitalFish is building the next generation of Augmented Reality (AR). We are looking for an experienced Production Coordinator to play a critical role in supporting art-production pipelines, and facilitating the day-to-day production objectives of the Department Manager. You’ll be our first point of contact for department team members. You will be working initially with the Facebook AR/VR group, creating new AR effects, games, and entertainment experiences on emerging platforms that take advantage of recent advances in computer vision and machine learning.

Responsibilities
- Track and monitor a master schedule of production milestones and processes
- Provide asset tracking both for internal team and cross-functional team distribution
- Setup and maintain project-management dashboards
- Proactively communicate day-to-day project status, issues and risk to management, partners and team members
- Strategize with the Producer to identify, prioritize and implement new department processes
- Learn about varied uses of AR, vendor management, budgets, R&D schedules
- Brainstorm, plan and execute morale boosting, cultural events for the team
- Optimize the art-production pipeline to realize the designers’ artistic vision
- Work with internal teams and external partners to prioritize production work and ensure art assets meet quality standards and are delivered on time
- Organize and schedule meetings for the Producer, Supervisor and Lead(s). Proactively manage calendars with alertness to topics, deadlines, conflicts, and attendees
- Ensure proper preparation for all meetings and reviews. Record and publish notes from meetings and reviews that accurately reflect action items
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of practical experience in Production or QA working on shipped titles in the digital media, games, animation industry or XR experience
- Solid understanding of production terminology and the production environment. Knowledge of animation terminology and environment is a plus
- Computer literacy and ability to work with databases as well as standard word-processing and spreadsheet software (Excel, Word, Photoshop, Final-Cut-Pro and project planning applications)
- Flexible nature with the ability to anticipate needs, problem solve, and prioritize multiple tasks and activities in a dynamic, deadline-driven work environment
- Experience with art-production tools and pipelines
- Proficiency with Agile development practices, source control, and QA processes
- Excellent communication skills to work with multi-functional teams
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
