About the Role
Sago Mini is seeking a Production Coordinator to work alongside our team and Marketing Producer on various projects. The Production Coordinator will assist in the pre-production preparation for asset creation across all products.
This is a part-time, contract position.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Liaison with vendors for service quotations.
- Coordinating asset elements of production projects while facilitating a clear line of communication with Marketing Producer and any vendors up to the final delivery.
- Gathers and preps materials (i.e., graphics, video clips, VO/SFX, images) and then coordinates with the Producer to allocate necessary resources and schedule.
- Assist in completion of storyboarding concepts.
- Follow up with freelancers/contractors to make sure outstanding asks are on track.
- Stay in direct contact with the Producer for regular project updates and outlines to deliver a product that aligns with brand vision.
- Assist production in achieving operational objectives by brand and platform standards are met.
- Maintains records of invoices, agreements, usage rights and contracts, as well as expenses.
- Exhibits excellent communication skills and a creative, “let’s do this” attitude.
- Support the Marketing Producer in asset creation and production initiatives.
- Providing other administrative support, as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Work or educational experience in post-production and/or design an asset.
- Should be familiar with post workflows including online editing, color correction, export settings, VFX and audio mixing to troubleshoot issues for quality.
- Excellent communication skills - not afraid to speak up if the going gets tough!
Nice to Haves
- Design or Production background.
- Experience in theatrical finishing environments.
- Prior experience in quality control checks for broadcast standards (video and audio levels, title safe, time code, etc.).
- Some understanding software and applications such as Adobe CC products.
