Product Owner for Games (f/m/d)

Your role:
As a Product Owner, you will lead passionate cross-functional teams in creating innovative content and incredible experiences. By inspiring teams to collaborate, you’ll drive development, smashing through obstacles and driving projects across the finish-line and into players’ hands. As main decision maker on your project, you gather requirements from stakeholders, set priorities and define the team's vision. You will be working closely together with Directors, Leads and Developers.Your Daily Work
As a Product Owner, your daily work revolves around steering the project to success. This includes creating and maintaining the game's vision, and ensuring vision alignment across teams. You act as a knowledge base for the entire team, and build a structured and prioritized backlog. Your communication towards the game's internal and external stakeholders and towards the development team make you the central point of contact for your project. You will be making pivotal decisions on a daily basis, aiming for the best experience for our players within our project constrains.Your Profile
We're looking for someone who can actively and independently execute their job. Therefore, you
- shipped at least one video game title as a Product Owner or in a similar position.
- have at least 5 years of experience developing games in dev studios
- love to make pivotal decisions, at times also unpopular ones
- know the theory of agile games development and extended that knowledge with practical experiences.
- are able to talk art, design and software without pretending.
- are eligible to work in Munich, Germany.
- speak English fluently

Responsibilities
- Create the project vision with input from stakeholders and your team
- Create the project breakdown
- Maintain the backlog
- Set priorities. Long- and short-term
- Contribute to milestone planning
- Be in direct contact to internal and external stakeholders, like C-level, publishers, IP-holders
- You're the main decision maker on your project
