About the Role

Trailmix is looking for an experienced Product Manager to deliver best-in-class features and player experiences that are innovative, fun, and make our first game a hit.

You manage and own features on Love & Pies throughout their lifecycle and work closely with other teams to create an outstanding game experience and improve key metrics.

Responsibilities

• Manage and own the life cycle of new features on Love & Pies from helping to define overall direction to implementation, A/B testing, and ongoing optimisation after release
• Work closely with the design team to shape new features and iterations
• Analyse data to understand performance and work closely with the data team to gain a deeper understanding of our players’ motivations, and identify opportunities for high-impact improvements
• Write specs, oversee and work on implementation together with the whole team including game designers, developers, artists, UI/UX designers, and QA.
• Help define overall product direction and roadmap priorities and then execute against those goals
• Keep up-to-date with market & genre trends and use your knowledge to improve Love & Pies and advocate for best practices
• Communicate with wider team individually, in group settings, or through presentation to share findings

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering features on an IAP driven f2p game and improving key metrics, or other very strong credentials and transferable skills from managing successful digital products
• Highly analytical, including experience with A/B testing and ability to make smart decisions using data and insights. (SQL skills a plus)
• Great communicator who can leave their ego at the door and work with the team to make the best game ever
• The ideal candidate loves the casual mobile space and has a deep understanding of what our audience enjoys
• Experience with ads monetisation a strong plus

Location

Trailmix is currently operating under a hybrid work model - we have 3 days a week (Monday, Thursday & Friday) in person at our brand new studio in Kings Cross with the remaining 2 days available to work from home.
