Senior Product Manager (Mobile Games)

PerBlue is looking for a talented Senior Product Manager to join our team. We’re a growing independent studio whose free-to-play midcore mobile games are being played by millions of people around the world, including the award-winning Disney Heroes: Battle Mode .
Our team brings together experience from major studios in the videogame and technology industries. Headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin, we also work remotely around the United States for an unmatched quality of life and work.
You'll lead the process that creates amazing experiences for our fans worldwide! In this leadership position, you'll oversee the development of one of our new games. We're looking for passionate gamers who have experience with bringing commercially successful free-to-play games to market, particularly in the RPG genre. You can expect substantial ownership over the game you work on, but also ample support and collaboration with your team and the rest of the studio.
Principal Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and live operations of a free-to-play RPG or strategy title or features
- Lead a cross-functional team of people to deliver a successful title or feature
- Artfully integrate business and player goals: fun and monetization; innovation and predictability
- Use business intelligence tools to drive user acquisition, retention and monetization
- Manage day-to-day game development using project management skills and agile development tools
- Inform stakeholders of project risks and steps taken to mitigate risks
- Identify problems and discover solutions to those problems
- Analyze the competitive landscape and know your target audience well
- Develop business case for your game or features in a game
Your experience
- 3+ years of experiencee building and operating commercially successful free-to-play games
- Strong grasp of free-to-play game economies and monetization
- Experience with mid/hardcore game genres and mechanics
- Solid understanding of building and operating games as a live service
- Technical expertise in a product area (design, monetization, production, engineering, UX, or other)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Game Design, Business, Economics, Psychology, Engineering or other relevant field
