Product Manager (Marketplace)

We are looking for a crypto-native to join the Immutable X Product Management team to create a thriving secondary market place for all digital assets, secured by the Ethereum blockchain. You will bring a deep understanding of DeFi and NFT products, strong customer focus and data analytics skills to create a magical trading experience on the Immutable X Marketplace.

This role has full accountability of the Marketplace product - you will be empowered to define the strategy, lead the product team and have the autonomy to pursue opportunities as you see fit. To be successful you will need to interface closely with the APIs product & marketing to make Immutable X the best place to own & trade NFTs on the blockchain.

We believe NFTs are the path to mainstream crypto adoption. Once consumers see the value of owning digital assets on the blockchain - scarcity, authenticity, openness - millions of people will pour into the ecosystem. You will play a key role in realising this future and making Ethereum the NFT blockchain by growing liquidity on Immutable X.

Here’s how you’ll contribute:

• Grow trading volume, turnover and active users on the Immutable X Marketplace
• Define the vision, strategy and roadmap for the Immutable X Marketplace
• Responsible for setting and achieving squad OKRs
• Stay up to date with the blockchain, NFT, defi and exchange spaces to develop an understanding of what is possible in the space
• Research traditional item marketplaces to understand what mainstream users want and expect
• Conduct qualitative research with users to understand their needs and desires
• Use Amplitude, Looker and the data analytics team to constantly improve the product
• Weigh difficult tradeoffs understanding the user, security and engineering requirements
• Gather requirements from relevant stakeholders (sales, marketing, customer support, legal, finance etc)
• Work with the engineering team to create a consistent, reliable shipping cadence
• Create clear and comprehensive user stories for the team
• Act as product owner to run your Agile Scrum process

A bit about you:

• You are plugged into the blockchain and specifically defi world. You need to know what is happening, what is working and not working
• 2+ years experience working in a product role
• You have driven meaningful business outcomes through product work
• You can own the strategy and roadmap for a product area. You have a strong intuition of the crypto audience and their needs
• You have worked with cross-functional product teams to deliver consistent, reliable shipping momentum
• You use data analytics and user research to identify customer problems and prioritise solving them
• You are an effective leader, able to motivate a team and influence, external stakeholders
• Experience with a marketplace or exchange product or similar
• Experience or interest in the gaming industry is a plus. Participation in the NFT ecosystem is a massive plus
