Job Summary
The Admin & Procurement Specialist plans, directs and conducts the Procurement activities and cycles at Sandsoft.
The position is based in Riyadh office.
You will report to the VP Finance.
What you will do:
Procurement Operations
- Support all departments, including IT, in procurement activities, from needs definition to delivery.
- Oversee vendors' sourcing, negotiations, and procurement processes to ensure efficient acquisition of technology, services, and goods across the organization
Expense Ownership
- Manage and oversee expenses related to the administration; including rent, office operations, and insurance.
- Ensuring cost-effective and efficient allocation of resources.
Strategic Sourcing
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and consistent with business goals.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay abreast of trends and developments in the supply market.
Supplier Management
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure advantageous terms.
- Evaluate and manage supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and performance metrics.
- Keep track of ongoing commitment and ensure data availability to relevant stakeholders.
Risk Management
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with supply contracts and agreements.
- Establish contingency plans to manage supply chain disruptions.
Cost Management
- Document and execute cost-saving initiatives and budget management to ensure organizational cost-effectiveness.
- Analyze and optimize procurement processes to reduce expenses and improve efficiency.
Policy and Compliance
- Develop and enforce procurement policies and procedures in line with company and legal requirements, ensuring efficiency, control, and appropriate segregation of duties.
- Ensure ethical practices in procurement and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Report on Procurement activities.
Tools
- Support implementation of relevant tools (incl. ERP) for the division to ensure data quality and reliability.
- Own the operations of the Travel Management Tool.
- Coordination of approvals from management.
- Ad-hoc requests.
- Maintain high standards of confidentiality to safeguard commercially sensitive information.
What you will bring:
- 3+ years of experience in Procurement or a similar role
- Experience in multi-countries - multi currencies environment
- Experience in managing entire procurement operations in tech / start-ups
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or specialized procurement certifications (like CIPS) is a plus
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools
- Experience with new technology usage and implementation
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to develop and manage contracts
- Excellent strategic thinking abilities
- Superb time-management and organizational skills, know how to multitask and prioritize
- Continuous learner, growth mindset aware of best practices and trends
- Proficiency in English
