Procurement Operations Specialist

The Procurement Operations Specialist will run day to day procurement activities including, but not limited to, creating Purchase Order’s, invoice matching, working with suppliers and to help roll out the procurement process. You will collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and all cross-functional business stakeholders to ensure proper procurement steps are taken.
Responsibilities
- Help build a world class Procure-to-Pay process and assist in training key stakeholders of the process
- Lead and assist in day-to-day operations of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay Process and vendor onboarding
- Aid in engagement and interface with Business and Finance to fully understand projected spending (including CapEx vs OpEx) and ensure that all necessary Purchase Orders are created and maintained proactively
- Monitor completion of goods/services and ensure receipts are posted in an accurate and timely manner
- Interface with departments to make recommendations regarding vendor issues and sourcing requirements
- Act as liaison between Unity and vendors in matters related to the Procure-to-Pay process
- Work closely with Accounts Payable to ensure proper and timely processing of Purchase Order and Non-Purchase Order Invoices
- Assist in managing all key business users’ usage of the procurement system and resolve issues where necessary
- Educate and train internal customers about the procurement process, technology and compliance requirements
- Assist in system testing for new P2P tool implementations
Requirements
- Experience in procurement (IT, Infrastructure, Facilities, HR, Marketing, Ad Sales)
- Experience and understanding of Accounting and the Procure-to-Pay Process
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and proficiency in Microsoft business suite, specifically PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
- Have a good organizational skills, detail-oriented mindset, and a high sense of urgency
- Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Must be team oriented with a positive attitude
Bonus points
- Have project management skills in tracking projects from concept to implementation
- Previous experience in analytics
