Principal / Senior Software Engineer - Creator Success

As a Backend Engineer, you will have the independence, opportunity, and the end-to-end responsibility to help us create an important and complex set of backend features to support the creators of games and other experiences within our Roblox ecosystem.
The Creator Success Team empowers Roblox to be the best development platform for creating 3D social experiences, allowing our creators to publish compelling content within the Roblox ecosystem. This includes services and solutions around the Talent Marketplace, Developer Hub, Developer Forum, and Creator Dashboard. You will create and own mission-critical services in this cross-discipline team within our Roblox ecosystem.
As a team, we believe in fast iteration and are biased toward action while keeping the long view. We have numerous exciting projects ahead of us for the years to come, including but not limited to:
- Build ML driven services to allow creators to engage the talent marketplace in a safe and civil manner
- Build next generation platform providing creators search and recommendations for immersive all Creator Resource products
- Build next generation distributed collaborative platform for the largest creator community in the world
You Are:
- An outstanding software engineer with 8+ years experience shipping high complexity code and high impact projects
- A team player, and love collaborating with others to push the boundaries
- Proficient in C#, Java, Go or any other object-oriented programming language
- Experienced in building and supporting backend applications at scale
- Consistent with building and delivering projects from conception to production
- Focused on writing clear, readable, testable, and monitored code

- Lead engineering and development for our backend services and systems
- Collaborate with product and design to push the boundary of what is possible
