Our projects continue to push forward the boundaries of VR and we’re looking for talented people to help us turn them into a reality. Our talented studio now has over 100 people and has been assembled from world-leading games developers and publishers.
The Role
We are looking for individuals with diverse experience that can play a key role in developing current and future technologies. This is a new department that is looking towards the future. Working with Internal and external partners we will push our knowledge and gain the experience to develop for the future. This individual will need to be a problem solver and solution provider.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build high quality, scalable features for our AAA-quality VR/AR games.
- Demonstrate sound technical design and implementation, setting an example for the team.
- Guide features through full development cycle – from rapid prototyping, evolving through production development, with iteration/balancing and bug fixing.
- Work alongside the team to develop robust, innovative systems.
- Be a positive behavioural and mental role model for the team and studio.
- Create a healthy working environment, ensuring positive scenarios of success for your team.
- Support an agile, fail-fast methodology when discovering and exploring gameplay content
Requirements
Essential capabilities:
- Aptitude for providing feedback, noting potential issues, and mentoring junior coders.
- Advanced knowledge of C++ programming, design patterns and software engineering.
- 3D maths and data structures knowledge, with performance-minded development and optimisation skills.
- Collaborative with a multi-discipline team, empowering artists, and designers.
- Capable of understanding complex tasks to produce results efficiently.
- Ability to combine visual, audio, and haptic feedback to create convincing and fun interactions.
Desired experience:
- 5+ years proven experience developing high-quality features for 3+ published PC, console, or mobile titles.
- Experience working professionally with Unreal Engine 4.
- Experience developing for mobile, console or PC VR.

Salary is competitive and dependent on your experience.
