Over 12 million people have created on the Roblox platform. The Creator Analytics team will provide them with actionable insights and flexible dashboards so they can improve on performance, retention, user acquisition, and monetization. As Principal Product Manager, you will connect deeply with the creator community to understand their needs and build world-class solutions to help them succeed. You'll partner closely with Data Science, Engineering, Design and Developer Relations, and be someone to bring this vision to life.
This role is based in HQ at San Mateo, CA (no remote).
You Are:
- 7+ years of product management experience and CS background
- From the gaming industry and have extensively worked in analytics.
- Are metrics obsessed, and can distill relevant insights from complex data sets
- Can dive deep into technical details, and engage with the world's best engineers
- Able to explain, advocate for and sell your product strategy both verbally and in writing
- Take the long view, and can envision what your users will need years down the line
- Can break a complicated vision down into incremental releases, and learn and refine each step of the way
- Have a drive to ship, can overcome through challenges, and have a track record delivering product users love
You Will:
- Be the advocate for the creator community on all data-related needs.
- Shape the vision, product strategy, roadmap for a new service vertical at Roblox.
- Educate internal stakeholders and executives on that vision, and it's alignment withthe core values of Roblox.
- Define and prioritize features that enable creators to attract, engage, retain and monetize users.
- Write product and technical specifications to communicate those features.
- Champion your vision inside the company, and align with partner teams to ensure delivery of the features that are most important to the community.
- Establish success criteria and objective metrics to measure the impact of your work.
- Deliver world-class solutions that allow creators to build great experiences that the community will love.
