Previsualization Artist

6 month contractor role, remote.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducting self-driven research and gathering references for development of the previz sequences
Translating written scripts into animated sequences
Planning and executing sequence development
Visualizing staging, blocking, camera motion, and character performance
Editing and compositing of scenes
Testing previz assets and rigs
Integrating sound elements into visuals
Rendering final animations of previz sequences
Liaising with directors and animators regarding the look and style of the sequences to be previsualized

REQUIRED SKILLS
Basic video editing and compositing skills
Ability to adhere to the requirements set forth by the art director
Understanding of animation process
Fundamental knowledge of film production
Visual storytelling skills
Solid knowledge of cinematography principles - framing, camera angles, composition, cinematic lighting, perspective
Strong understanding of Camera Data and lenses
Strong understanding of cinematography and a keen eye for shot composition

Experience with UE5 Sequencer
Experience working with Motion Builder
Experience working with 3D software (Maya, Cinema4D, etc.)
Experience working with motion capture

BENEFICIAL SKILLS

General animation skills - modeling, rigging, shading, etc.
