tinyBuild is a video game label started in 2011 with the idea of creating long-term, recognizable franchises by partnering up with talented developers from all over the world. The company has released dozens of games, including Hello Neighbor, Graveyard Keeper, SpeedRunners, and more. Headquartered in the Seattle Area, USA, the company now has studios in the US, Netherlands, Latvia, and throughout Eastern Europe.
We are looking for a new Portfolio Director to make decisions on the next few years of tinyBuild’s game output, find new game projects, evaluate pitches, talk to new developers about tinyBuild, and introduce publishing offers. Our ideal candidate has welcoming and positive communication skills, can take part in sensitive business negotiations, and can reliably archive and process data. You will be arranging support for many creative projects!
The candidate can work remotely, or in one of our offices if they live close by.

- An understanding of the publisher-developer relationship, and a deep understanding of the industry;
- Confident, extrovert communication skills, fluent written and spoken English;
- Proactive approach to scouting and head-hunting, high sense of ownership and a team player’s mindset;
- Ability to handle multiple projects at a time, with different deadlines and requirements;
- A modern player of niche and unique games, as well as high-budget mainstream games on console and PC.
Responsibilities
- Deciding which projects and studios tinyBuild should work with next, and reaching out to them;
- Evaluating pitches together with our team, including budget, design, market potential and the developer’s qualifications;
- Talking to developers about the publishing process and our role in the industry;
- Interacting with our Business team to come up with solutions for developer requests;
- Processing tinyBuild’s stream of incoming game-pitches and keeping developers in the loop on our decisions;

- Staying afloat of industry trends and news.
Opportunities
- Arrange huge support for your favourite undiscovered game developers;
- Be a positive role model in the industry. tinyBuild is a publisher run by developers, so we talk to partners on equal ground, and we care about the creative process and sustainable working conditions;
- Take control of our pitches pipeline, with the freedom to adapt your role, expand a team, and re-design our process if you deem it necessary;
- Opportunity to work remotely;
- Coverage for professional courses and conferences;
- Paid vacation days, plus additional bonus time off that the company provides throughout the year.
