Pipeline Engineer - ShotGrid

DigitalFish has an immediate need for a Pipeline Engineer with experience extending and customizing Autodesk ShotGrid as a short-term contract.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with project management, engineering, and client stakeholders
• Design, implement and test pipeline tools with clean and efficient web user interfaces according to the client specifications
• Receive and respond to feedback from client stakeholders
• Debug and resolve issues found in testing
• Write technical briefs and documentation

Job Requirements

• BS/BA in Computer Science or related engineering field
• 6+ years experience developing pipeline solutions in a visual effects or animation production studio
• 3+ years experience developing web application backends using Python, Flask, Celery
• 3+ years experience integrating production management tools such as Shotgrid
• Solid Python programming skills including knowledge of software patterns, debugging and optimization, Python 2 to Python 3 compatibility, packaging and deployment
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes
• Self-motivated with strong communications skills and able to work both in a team and independently
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
