People Operations Manager

Mobcrush is looking for a passionate and driven People Operations Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the company, touching upon multiple disciplines such as HR, Communications, Executive Management, and Business Operations. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of people operations experience in a startup environment and a proven record of getting things done.
Job description:
- Serve as the go-to person for all HR activities including:
- Working closely with hiring managers to fulfill hiring and recruitment needs
- Maintaining and improving onboarding and offboarding processes
- Being point of contact for all benefits and accounting related questions
- Supporting the execution of critical work cycles (e.g., benefits open enrollment, feedback cycles, leave administration, etc.).
- Proactively and empathetically address workplace and personnel issues.
- Consult with business leaders, managers, recruiters, and other cross-functional teams to develop and implement best practices and change management.
- Drive company-wide initiatives that increase employee satisfaction and productivity.
- Manage company wide communications including organization charts and all hands meeting presentations.
- Assist the CEO and executive team with calendaring, travel assistance, and board management.
- Oversee management of third party vendors such as accounting, legal, facilities, and IT.
- Closely monitor the office management budget to ensure operations are carried out in a cost efficient manner.
- Execute ad hoc projects including lease management and event planning.
Desired qualities:
- Prior experience working in HR, office management, and/or executive management.
- Experience working in a startup environment.
- Proven record of maintaining confidentiality and meeting strict deadlines.
- Self-starter and capable of executing rapidly with limited direction.
- A passion for people operations and a desire to continuously improve.
- A strong growth oriented mindset.
- Ability to work with a wide range of individuals.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Management experience a plus.
