As People Operations Manager at YAGER you will:
- Manage day-to-day HR administration such as HR master data, payroll, benefits, time off, contracts, and compliance
- Ensure high quality of employee experience in alignment with YAGER’s values and with the goal of making YAGER among the best places to work in the games industry
- Initiate and take the lead on activities that contribute to positive company culture, health & wellness and strong employee engagement
- Manage employee relations and act as a focal point for any internal issues that arise
- Oversee employee on- and off-boarding bringing your creativity and professionalism in order to make this experience exciting, effective and unique
- Support Talent Acquisition Team and hiring managers in recruiting by screening of candidates as needed in order to achieve recruiting goals in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years HR experience (preferably in an innovative technology or startup environment)
- Analytical and detail-oriented with a high dose of curiosity in discovering what people need in order to deliver the best work possible
- Highly empathetic people person with a growth mindset and great communication skills
- Skilled in working with digital HR tools
- Good understanding of German labor market and labor laws
- Fluent in German and English
Desirable skills:
- Knowledge of or interest in computer games
- Coaching or people development experience
- Experience doing public speaking or leading workshops
