People Business Partner Coordinator

Scopely is looking for a People Business Partner coordinator to join our Global People Team in Barcelona, Spain on a hybrid basis working 2-3 days a week from our hub.

This position will support the People Team Business Partner for the casual division. Your primary clients will be game leaders, managers, and functional leaders, while also providing support to the PBP team.
What you will do:
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing timely and accurate information or directing them to the appropriate resources. Maintain excellent organizational skills to ensure proper follow-up and timely delivery of commitments
- Provide first-line advice to managers regarding employee relations issues, including coaching first-time managers on Scopely values and general management expectations based on best practices
- Maintain and update HRIS, handle HR documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Manage the employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, employee changes, and exit management
- Collect and analyze HR data, prepare reports, and assist in people metrics tracking to support decision-making
- Help organize and coordinate events, such as training sessions, workshops, and team-building activities
- Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion and effective implementation
- Educate managers and employees on performance processes. Guide line managers on best practices around performance communication and feedback. Work with line managers and employees to address performance issues
- In consultation with Sr. PBPs and Legal counsel, provide advice in the area of employment law and ensure compliance with applicable HR-related policies and regulations
- Put Scopely tenets into day-to-day practice. Form productive relationships across the team. Seek and address feedback proactively. Participate in and provide effective feedback for peers. Work with the business to foster a culture of ongoing performance feedback and development
What you will need:
- A minimum of one year of human resource management experience
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
Bonus Points:
- Knowledge of local employment laws and regulations
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
